B&R Converters invests in Australia’s only full-width 3.5m textile treatment machine

B&R Converters has made a significant capital investment in a 3.5-metre-wide textile treatment machine, the only system of its kind currently operating in Australia.

The new machine, installed at B&R Converters’ Minto facility, enables textiles to be treated at full width without the need for folding. This eliminates distortion, crease lines, and inconsistency common in narrower treatment processes, delivering superior finish quality, uniform performance, and greater yield across wide-format materials.

This capability is particularly critical for large-scale applications across automotive, architectural, industrial, and technical textile markets, where consistency, compliance, and repeatability are non-negotiable.
